Kelly and B:
I think it is great that you are going with your “dream”
I makes me still feel like I have time. I love
to sing, I sing solos at church have since I was seven
years old but never really did anything about it. I
have an audition with a trio on Monday we will see how
it goes. Well, I do want to commend you also on the
newsletter it looks very professional and it is great.
I hope that thru this all I will be able to find
something that will make money to be able to help out
our situation at this time
ie:we have been paying 2 mortgages for over a year now
and funds are gone..anything
you might need help with or anything..Remember me!!!! I
am glad you and B are going thru with it have fun..if
it is not fun it wasn’t really worth it.
Take care,
Valerie H.
Answer: Thank you so much for taking the time to write.
And we hope your audition went well!!
You are so right when you say if it's not fun--it's not
worth it. If this was some pressure cooker,
BIG money, studio time production on the line---I would
have already had a nervous breakdown!

Hello Kelly-I have to say I think its great that your
being so ambitious to learn to play the guitar and
record your own music. i have to also thank you for a
job I found on your website two years ago that has
allowed me to stay home with my kids all this time
(and Im STILL earning a living at it). I myself have
longed to learn to play the guitar but being too busy,
and partly just no confidence is to blame....so I
commend you! Good luck with your songs and I cant wait
to hear them.

Answer: Ambitious! I like
that word much better than "crazy"! I don't feel
ambitious--but
I'm glad that it looks that way. I do LOVE this
process---and what music has brought
to my life. Even as a small child--I totally got lost
in a song. The words--the feelings it
provoked.......it's very powerful in my world.
Congrats on the JOB TOO!!! Wow--that is totally
awesome! Thanks for being a faithful
subscriber!

Dear Kelly,
Wow, I never realized that the person behind the
wonderful web site Money Making Mommy is also so
beautiful! You go girl! Make this dream come true as
no one else but you can do. You are lucky to have a
husband who is supportive and a friend who will rig
ladders that will become mic stands.
Really enjoyed reading about your adventures, as well
as seeing the pictures. I’m sure that all of us
readers will be most supportive of you and B and you
endeavor to make this CD. Good luck and carry on…..

Answer: Oh my goodness!! Beautiful!!?? Wow----I have no
where to put that--but thank you!
I do feel like I'm going for this for many reasons and
for many people. It could be a really
scary and empty process--but I feel so much support from
people like you---and as you
mentioned--I am VERY lucky to have the support of my
husband--and B.

I
hope all goes well for you... and post every little
detail! Good luck :-)
Answer: Every bit of
luck helps!! So thank you!! I'll try to tell you all the
gory
details except for things like--on Tuesday I kept
thinking a booger was hanging out
of my nose while I was recording--and I asked B several
times---"Is there
something on my nose??"

You
did a really great job with the new look. Good luck on
your new singing venture!
Answer: Thank you. I
really like the new look too. And thank you for the luck
wishes!

Answer: I have to
admit--I thought for sure you guys would give me heck
about this weblog.
I braced myself for email lashing that I thought
insued. But I tell you what--EVERY email that
came in was NICE, supportive and upbeat. You guys are
an amazing group of people. I am honored
that you let me into your computer!!!

HI
Kelly! I think what you are doing is fabulous! I love
reading about a
real person behind the wonderful ezine! How in the
world do you find the
time? I really enjoy your ezine the most of all the
home job sites i visit
and feel like you are just like the rest of us "home
mommies". I am an 80's
fanatic, being that I grew up in that era (1984 H.S.
graduate) , so I look
sooo forward to hearing your cool tunes! Take care!
Lara
Answer: Lara!! I
graduated in 1984 too!! Wow--does it seem like that long
ago??
I was styling in my Miami Vice-like jacket and wearing
more bangles on my wrists
than I could manage!! I wanted that "Holiday" Madonna
video look!! I will have
to find an old photo of my "Madonna" phase. My Mom still
jokes about it. I actually
OWN Don Johnson's album--shhhhhhhhhhhhhh don't tell
anyone!!!
Thanks for the sweet note!

Oh ..and even my closest friends had to get in on the
"comment action.
This is from my good friends Holly and Mike. As you can
read--they are quite
the comedians!! NOT!
Dear Penthouse,
I've never written anything like this before, but...
(oops! wrong letter...)
Dear Sweaty Betty,
All I can say is, wow that "B" sure is hot! Can you
tell me his real name?
(I promise I won't tell anyone.) I hope you'll keep
putting more pix of
that Booty-licious "B" on your website!
Keep up the good work, don't forget us little people
when you make it big!
Sincerely,
H.L. "Cool" B.
PS: I like the old mic stand better....
